Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Would you be happy with a Nintendo E3 exactly like TheSource predicted?

I could be happy with that I guess.

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

I like Bacon said:
I want Star Fox Wii to be announced. That's it. Zelda Wii is inevitible to be at E3....next year most likely. I can't see it being there this year due to Zelda: ST.

I'd like to see Starfox as well. Maybe Retro did that (or F-Zero).

I have this weird feeling they are going to demo Red Steel 2.

Source's prediction does not preclude more announcements than just Zelda. Point 2 includes the possibility of many, many, many games that include WMP.

More, the Source's list does not claim to be inclusive.

I don't see the problem of the list coming true, because it has the possibility of showing much more than is written.

Only thing on that list that makes me excited is Zelda, everything else who cares.

Pikmin 3 release for this year, demo of Red Steel 2 with other motion + games and a Zelda trailer with a winter 2009 or spring 2010 would be great.

I'm sure it's been said before, but I'll say it again because it seems to need to be repeated.

E3 is the only gaming conference where all the major media sources will be at. When I mean MAJOR media sources I'm not talking about IGN or [put your favorite game media source here]. I'm talking about the bigger ones. The companies that cover more than just games. Media that outputs to the masses not the the specific culture. E3 media is where the masses can hear about games they might be interested in. This is why WiiSports and Wiifit penetrated the mass market so well, because of the mass media focus at E3.

Nintendo has grown smart and know that to produce real tons of money capture the media attention when they are most interested, but the mass media has to have a product they will be interested in. [Insert your core game here] does not appeal to the masses and as such Nintendo will not focus on it. This E3 will be once again be Wii Resort, DSi, WiiWare and mass appeal software. However they may throw a bone to the dedicate fan, but don't expect a whole lot.

Nintendo will garner the most mass market attention, but to the enthusiast gamer will once again be left out. Don't go into this expecting anything more.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

You guys should recognize that when I do the 70/30, 50/50, 30/70 thing for the big three it means I expect most of the predictions in the likely category to happen, about half in the 50/50 category to happen, and one, maybe two of the items in the 30/70 category to happen.

May someone give me a link there where everything was said in OP's post?

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

I'm happy for zelda but I want more, not just from them but from all the consoles. Also I'm tired of having to pay for things that should have come with the console, ie: DLC, cooling fans, wii motion plus
