Lucky! My Gold version is the only one out of all the Pokemon games I have that's died on me. I can still play the game, I just can't save. =(

That said, if I do manage to get a DS, I'll most likely be buying both versions, just like I did with G/S. I'm a loser like that. =)

There is a God.Thank you so much.I have been waiting for this game for years,gold is my favorite game of all time.Omg I am crying.Everyday under the rain I waited for this announcement,my heart almost stopped when I read the title Pk G&S announced.This time around I will pick Cyndaquil though.OMG I can barely type this,in fact I can barely breath....omg I AM CHOKING.......

I personally think gold and silver were the best pokemon games ever, just for the fact that they go to both the johto and kanto regions

I don't have a credit card... Maybe I'll just ask for a DS for my birthday since I still have my GBA. And I've been meaning to get Fire Red and Leaf Green for a while now. Not so sure about Emerald; I was suckered into buying Yellow and Crystal, but is it better than R/S?

 

idk.. personally, R/S was my second favorite Pokemon game, Silver/Gold being the first, so naturally I loved Emerald, though it's not much different from R/S. if you havent played those tho, i'd recommend it.

I'm sure the first 251 will only be obtainable before the national dex. (not counting trades probably) Just like Fire Red and Leaf Green. It had the first 151. When you got the national dex, you could get all 386. (not counting trades I think, I think you could trade national dex pokemon before you get it, but I never traded with the GBA games)
