More evidence points to Lost Planet 2 hitting the PS3

The whole Lost Planet 2 platform fiasco has led to quite a few gamers scratching their heads in confusion, and justifiably so.  The game was first mentioned by Capcom's R&D Keiji Inafune in an interview with Famitsu magazine, when he stated both Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 would be released for the PS3 and 360 in 2009.  However, when the game was later officially announced via the XBox Live Marketplace,  only the 360 specified as the platform.  Capcom's VP Christian Svensson even later admitted, sheepishly, "[Lost Planet 2's announcement] is complicated, it's confusing, I do understand that it's confusing how it was announced. It's not clear".

And while a definitive answer is still not available, Capcom has dropped yet another hint that Lost Planet 2 will indeed be headed to the PS3 eventually.  The Japanese publisher recently published their E3 2009 line up via their community blog.  Lost Planet 2 will be there, however, they specified that it was "currently" only for 360 and PC.  The use of the word "currently" would seem to indicate that it will be coming to another platform eventually.

And it's pretty safe to assume, that platform WON'T be the Wii.

This is practically a given on PS3 now.

OPM UK claim to know that it is coming to PS3, so I think we will just have to patient (if we want it of course)

Assumption are evidence now?

But war... war never changes

It's certainly logical that they would release it for PS3. In fact, I'd be very surprised if they didn't.

Look at the word "currently", this is evidence that Capcom are either thinking about another console, or they are waiting to announce.

Now it's for the PC aswell?

It was 360 only a week or so ago.

Lost Planet 2 Wii confirmed. I draw attention to Dead Rising 1.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

it was announced for pc and 360 to start.

on topic; i always expected it to go multiplatform

I also knew this would go Multi Platform...But it's obvious why it's timed for the 360
