Sony knows no one gives a damn about Ghostbusters and wont sell anywhere near a million. They just want to get a one up on Microsoft;however, the choice they made was one of the dumbest decisions ever. This will go down in history as one of the biggest money wasters of the gen.
I wish sony'd spend money on better IPs. Ghostbusters? WTF?

What is the point?...this game will never hit a million copies sold LTD.
Many people do care about this game (though I am not one of them) in spite of the terrible game designer, who just loves to hate other games (though he does like Uncharted...)

This games fanbase has long since grown up and probably had children of their own. Kids today do not know about Ghostbusters, and the adults who grew up with it, don't care anymore. Those people are probably play the Wii with their kids for crying out loud. Sony published a non-factor game.

Sony hardly made the move just to get a 'one up' on MS.
"The game is scheduled to hit the streets June 19 alongside the Blu-Ray edition of the classic movie."
It's a business decision. Promote the Blu-ray with the exclusive release of the game across all Sony platforms.
As for one of the biggest money wasters, seen as we don't know how much, if any, money changed hands, I doubt it will.

Not just Sony...anyone console entering the internet and operating system phase. Microsoft never took anything from anyone. SE found value in working with Microsoft. No company was a bigger moneyhatter than Sony when they knocked Sega out of competition and went straight for Nintendos throat. Luckily after all the third party titles Nintendo had, they had a mind to keep making great first party household names they could profit off of. Sega wasn't so lucky. Stage come on...buying exclusive rights to DLC in game like GTA4 where 4 or 5 million PS3 cant play it, buying TOV, SO, ES meaning million have to wait full year not 4-6 months like GB to play it, entering the industry to get SONY out of it, afecting millions of people who enjoy there gamming products
