you do realize this is Nintendo only games, not third party at all.  As others said there are a bunch of games that have sold more than some of these games that aren't on the list cause not nintendo made. 

 

so this just shows that NINTENDO only is above the best games on the other two systems. not surprising by looking at software totals each week and unless some game comes out that sells a million or something then NINTENDO is on top.

 

 

 

Yeah, we all know nintendo is great and their games sell alot more than others, but its not for everyone and for the people like me and others the best games are on the ps3/360, thats why there are 3 consoles in the market, and the data expressed here demostrates that, so nothing we didnt know.

how does the data here represent anything.  it doesn't show what games are the top sellers on the other consoles, just the total.  It doesn't list any third party games on Wii.  All this list is showing is how insane NINTENDO's 1st party software is.

 

yes i know if your a fps fan, there are more options on other consoles and what else you might want to say, but this topic doesn't prove or show anythign of that nature.  The only thing this data shows is that more people love nintendo games than any other game.

And I supose we didnt know that nintendo sells the most software? There is a thread everyweek to show that, just like this one. When u say NINTENDO, you put it like if they  were God, but I dont believe in god so I dont care.

Anyway, u know nothing about me, I dont have a single FPS in my games, there are other games in HD consoles too and u are making you sound ignorant.

Ah The internet isn't it great? one day you have a wii fan who says Wii has the best selling hardcore games and the other day he says Hardcore games don't exist.

Nothing with Mario in the title or the game can be considered as hardcore if you ask me.

Come on, the Wii does not deliver to hardcore-gaming-fans. I am not saying I need blood, gore and violence, but I need games that are more appealing. Games that are telling me a great story, creating an atmosphere and that are actually challenging. Games like Mass Effect, Fable, Halo, Heavy Rain or Metal Gear Solid. Those are games that are deeper than Mario Party.

But we have 3 consoles and everybody can pick the console he/she likes. The Wii is outstanding succesful with the games they have. But don't make something out of the Wii what it is not.

Look at the million sellers for the Wii. There are just a handful of games that have a story worth mentioning (no an Italian trying to rescue a princess from a turtle is NOT a great story!)

So the Wii is mostly for casuals. This is not a bad thing at all. But as a gamer that wants to play more than some party games, the Wii is not the right choice. PS360 still gets most of the 3rd party support for a reason.

 

This is no trolling. I am glad that Nintendo is successful again.

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

The 360 coming out a year earlier still counts because it already had owners who would buy games for it instead of gettin a PS3/Wii to buy (some of the same) games.Dirty p2002,are you saying that Mario Galaxy isn't challenging?ANd you guys are forgetting,this list is Wii-1st-party-harcore-only vs HD-1st & 3rd party-hardcore & casual.If this were wii-1st & 3rd party hardcore alone vs HD-1st & 3rd party hardcore alone,the gap would be wide.

He also said MGS4, and they have at least deeper and more developed enviorment and atmosphere than mario. Why discuss in that part when its obvious, you seem to like nintendo games more and we dont, simple as that.

Not really given some of the biggest franchsies like GT and FF DQ have yet to release.

Psus if waggleKrt makes the list for hardcore then we got a big differance of opinion on what hardcore is.
