Arcade sales do not account for 50% or more total sales.

Yep should happen pretty soon and I doubt Sony could give a shit. They know this is going to happen and are allowing it, obviously they have settled with the smart route of going for profit. The PS2 used to save it but sales have died down a lot for the console, next up is Sony making the PSP big again in the west to put the PS3 on life support again.

Was there a point where PS3 sales were well below 100k? I can only assume it was when the console was £425. Sony will keep going with the $400 price until they can cut the price yet still make the money they are now.

then u noticed its more than 6 millions and note that the games were released last year

plus its not the only way to get an arcade...

but i doesn't matter is xbox is selling very well

6 million between the two .. the highest selling one was Lego IJ at 3.2 million

 

In fact christmas week Lego IJ sold 430k when the 360 sold 875k ... so less than half, and thats if all Lego IJ's were sold with the arcade, I'm sure it sold about 60k on its own meaning Arcade sales acocunt for like 40% of sales, at least that week anyway.
