Yep should happen pretty soon and I doubt Sony could give a shit. They know this is going to happen and are allowing it, obviously they have settled with the smart route of going for profit. The PS2 used to save it but sales have died down a lot for the console, next up is Sony making the PSP big again in the west to put the PS3 on life support again.
Was there a point where PS3 sales were well below 100k? I can only assume it was when the console was £425. Sony will keep going with the $400 price until they can cut the price yet still make the money they are now.
