Wheres Naughty dog and Insomniac?
anyways i say Nintendo, then Konami then Rare (lately they're bad) and the last is Sega (man they really make it worse everytime)

The fact that Rare has gotten so many nods despite not having done much for years, tells you just how good they once were.

I wonder why Insomniac or Naughty Dog isn't on the list. Crash and Spyro were pretty good on the PS1. Haven't played much of their recent games so I don't know about them now.  I won't include them since they aren't in the OP (would put both of them in front of Sega)

Nintendo is the best by far. Not only are their 2D platformers top notch, but their 3D platformers are completely unmatched.

Rare comes next. They also had great 2D platformers. As for 3D, I thought they have been only OK.

Sega, Capcom, and Konami were good/great in 2D, but what about 3D?

Oh and i think Nintendo had alot of fingers in alot of Rare pies a decade ago. Nintendo would never have left them alone with Donkey Kong, not for a second.

First Nintendo, Rare is a close second (I loved DKC) and all the rest after.
