From the previews, it seems that is not an issue. What HVS did before is what's known in show business as "paying their dues". They did mediocre games because that is what they were paid to make. That is where they got their experience in how to make games.

I hope you are right. I have the game pre-ordered but I can cancel at any moment if bad reviews come out.

Just make sure the bad reviews don't smell of "it's on the Wii, so I hate it no matter what".



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

KZ1 was mediocre but KZ2 is supposed to be good.

Same can happen here.

Lots of shit can happen, but just like KZ2 I prefer to base my expectations off of history instead of what I hope will happen.  Hence I assume that Conduit will be average until I hear accounts of people who have played it who say it's good and that I know and trust (such as MM for KZ2).

Honestly, it drives me crazy Conduit and Magna Carta 2 are getting a free ride off of KZ2 and now developer history doesn't matter.  It was unreasonable to assume that KZ2 would be great based off of previews, and the same goes for MC2 and the Conduit.  The reasonable expectation is to just expect the developer to continue as they have in the past, and then you can be pleasently surprised if they make an amazing game.

I think it will be average. Apart from the controls it does nothing differently. Hopefully the Controls will make up for the Sub par graphics that we have come to expect of shooters (regardless of console)
