yeah, aligning launches obviously doesn't tell us anything, the 360 was obviously the sales winner of this generation...

and remember when the xbox, gc, and ps2 were competing? obviously they all stopped selling on the exact same day? right? So obviously the ps3 and 360 are going to stop selling on the same day as each other.


listen, it's impossible so say right now who will sell more LTD between the 360 and the ps3 but the fact that the ps3 is outpacing the 360 when you align the launches is a pretty good sign for the ps3. right now i'd give 50/50 odds on who comes out on top but regardless of who wins the final score is going to be close.

How is this misrepresented?  The time peried is the Launch of PS3 until now.  Thats almos 2.5 years. In that time period it is behind the sales of 3 other systems.  

The OP is the one who is Cherry-Picking.  "Same point in time" ???  So the PS3 is on a different timeline now?  No sorry.  the gap is 8 million.  There is no cherry picking there.  Just to total number

To be fair, the 360 is still trailing the PS2 from its launch too.  And by a larger margin as well.
