and also the ps3 has had to face competiton when the 360 didnt.

Also the ps3 has had to face the worse depression the world has ever seen. the 360 didnt.

The ps3 has constantly been a lot more expensive then the 360.


All this comes into play in my opinion so anyone who says the ps3 is doing badly are stupid lmao.

If the ps3 is doing horrible then i dread to think what the word is for the 360

The recesion only affects the PS3 and not the others??

No, you are right that Wii is not dominating the market share like PS2 did.  True enough.  It is dominating the PS2 though.  But then again from what I understand, PS2 didn't hit market share levels that the NES did.  I'm trying to find a good source on that.

This really only ends up relevent if the PS3 ends it's lifespan a year later then the 360.

Which they're both likely to stop selling around the same time.

Aligned launches are only useful for making comparisons outside of generations.

I meant sales wise smart one....The wii is selling better than the PS2 was at the same time in its lifespan...And the wii most likely will outsell the PS2 ltd.

Also this gen has grown alot since last.  About 100 million consoles have been sold and this gen is only half over.

The N64 tracked ahead of the PS1 for nearly a year and half (in Japan) with aligned launches, and see how that ended.
