I am currently slogging my way through Demon's Souls, and while the combat mechanics, animations, and atmosphere are great, it is BRUTALLY tough.  This game is not for the faint of heart.

I'm going to make my way through this one. Sure I spent over two hours on the first level, and still haven't managed to beat it, but I'm not gonna give up!

Read up on the MGS storyline and Plot, then buy MGS4. Play it on a decent difficulty level, watch all the cutscenes in full and you will be blown away.

Also to even out your spread as far as racers go, GT5:P is actually very good

If you want a good game get LBP or MGS4, KZ2 is average game with good graphics.

I am fairly aware of some games coming for this console, the ones that made me buy it. God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Versus, and my Killzone 2 bet with Makingmusic.

I like shooters with good single player campaigns, RPG's and good adventure games. I know what's already out there, tell me about what's coming.

Do you? You're missing Uncharted, Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles.

How into RPGs are you though?

Uncharted I am renting this week.  Folklore...I dont really think I am interested.  Valkyria, I am interested.  It's not worth a whole lot of cash to me for an SRPG, but I'm definitely interested.

I've very into RPG's, though I have played a lot more Western ones.

EDIT: And I forgot to mention (and even though it is already released, I have to make sure you get it) Flower. Go buy it, no matter how unmanly the game's name might make you feel.

EDITEDIT: And you should look into Trine. It releases on PC also, but playing coop with your buddies should be done in a couch with a controller each

What is Trine?

Even the Xbox 360 version of ToV isn't out here yet.  If I buy the game I will do a cost-benefit analysis of the benefits of the extra content.

Rachet I will probably rent, may buy Uncharted 2 if I love the first.  Demon Souls I have my eye on, it looks promising.  Same with WKC.

Trine is a PSN platform/adventure game releasing this summer.

You play as either a wizard, warrior or thief, and can switch between the characters as you like, and the game has 2 player coop. I can't remember anything about the plot

You people are all nuts.. jk., Killzone was great. Maybe I tend to like the more mass market type of games, where in forums most like JRPG's and heavy rain and team ico games, (which I love as well)

I would say Killzone is my second fav game this gen behind Uncharted. I felt sharing my opinion on this was important since the consensus is so far.... wrong.
