If FF XIII were coming for holidays, PS3 would have a chance, but with 360 having a lead AND a Halo game this fall. Just don't see it happening.

Plus, I'd put money on 360 having more up its sleeve at E3 than PS3. Sony has put most of its big upcoming stuff out there over the past year - they HAD to lure buyers with promises of the future. I think MS has some big news in the wings that Sony doesn't. Sony's awesomeness is going to be glimpses of stuff we've been waiting for - but in the end, stuff we know is coming. MS, on the other hand, is going to drop a bomb, whether it's motion (I hope not!) or Halo 4 for 2010 or something.

Every time I hear people talk about E3 and pre-E3 events, there's just a hint of giddiness when they mention MS, whether it's Major Nelson who gets paid to be excited or the IGN/1Up guys on the podcasts. There's just a sense there that MS is going to have the best showing.

Even though I only own a 360, I believe the PS3 could outsell the 360. It's only 8 million behind in units sold. And don't forget that the PS3 was released a year after the 360, so it's selling about just as good, if not better. Just my two cents.

1. Heard the same argument in early 2007 and 2008, but it allways changed after E3. GoW 3 won't come 2009. And MS has a Halo-game in route for this holiday and we know what that means. Sony has had a extremly great line-up with first and second part exclusiv but so far it has not helped.

2. A 50 dollar pricecut can easily be matched by MS and without a price cut it won't outsell in the US

3. No, but more and more fans want to belive that people will realize. Great exklusivs but the mutliplattform titles will continue to look better on 360 in 9 cases of 10 as it has been doing since launch.

4. The PS3 and Sony brand in US is not equall to the PS3 and Sony brand in Japan.

5. And you have no clue on that. A part from the next Halo game we all know that MS will bomb the E3 as they allways have. I expect Forza 3, a new Rare title and much more candy.

Since the gap between 360 and PS3 has increased each year........it has not sold as good or better.
