Did you receive it already? Mine is only arriving next week... :S

Mine has not come yet and that sucks so much! I guess I have to wait until next week as well... Meh.

You're right it doesn't matter in the big picture because all that shows is Sony can barely keep pace with the Wii even when the Wii is slumping and Nintendo is releasing dick all for it in Japan.

That will change in the second half of this year.

The PSP's release schedule for the 1st half of 2009 is far better than the Wii's in Japan. Nintendo banked heavily on Wii Music + rehashed Animal Crossing to carry the Wii through the first half of this year ... they bet on the wrong horse.

If the PS3 can sell on par with the Wii after Wii Sports Resort, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Graces, Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers, and Wii Fit Plus later on in the year ... then I will be impressed.

It's a bundle with a special editon Classic Controller because Monster Hunter G is not playable with the regular nunchaku setup.

it barely beat street fighter 4 on the ps3.

SF4 sold 84,233 units first week in Japan. MHG Wii sold 92000 first day and is likely to outsell SF4 combined on PS3 and 360 in Japan.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

how much wereyou expecting MHG to sell first week?

I'm wondering about this too... 200K? 300K? 500K?

MHG is exceeding my expectations. I would have thought 100k first week. Should have some decent legs this close to Golden Week.

Definitely bodes well for MH3, cause it's clear that some of the PSP fanbase is already switching to Wii, otherwise there's no chance in hell it could outsell the original PS2 game first week.

MH3 should be at least 3x as big as MHG, so a 300k first day is very possible.

CrazzyMan and you have a very different opinion on this.

"Anyway, it`s pretty much safe to say, that MH3 will make atleast 300-400k on Wii."

Its not impressive that the ps3 is nearly twice the price of the wii?
