My five favourite PS3 games, I suppose.
1) MGS4 (the story is gripping, the graphics are phenomenal, and it's a blast to play)
2) BioShock (It's a very different kind of game, and it feels almost unique)
3) Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (It does nothing revolutionary, but it has an intriguing story, and varied gameplay)
4) Killzone 2 (It's a technological powerhouse, it tries to be different from other first person shooters)
5) Call of Duty 4 (It put FPS controls on a console in a way that no game before it managed to do. The multiplayer was addictive, it can keep you playing for hours on end. I don't think the campaign was anything fantastic, but the online more than made up for it)
3, 4 and 5 are basically a three way tie for third.
6) LittleBigPlanet (It's genuinely innovative, and once you get past it's shiny colourful happy exterior, you find a surprisingly deep game)
7) Oblivion (It's the best RPG I've ever played. The options were endless, and though it suffered a bit from do-everything-itis, it was hundreds of hours of enjoyment)
8) Tools of Destruction (Insomniac managed to take one of my favourite series, and put it in high definition, shaking things up a little, but ensuring that it remained familiar to R&C fans. The lack of multiplayer was disappointing, probably due to time restraints, but it was so good, it left me disappointed with Resistance 2, which it why it doesn't make this list)
The top two are close, 3, 4, and 5 are close, and 6, 7, and 8 are close. In fact, they're all extremely close.
