As I stated in my second post, my point wasn't that the 360 has a bad lineup by any means.  For those that already own the system, they will be quite content with the selection.  My point was that, from the looks of it, the ps3 will have a substantially better lineup than the 360 next year, and, imo, said lineup will help the ps3 sell substantially better next year, due to a combination of sheer volume and diversity, but also because specific games in the lineup are from high profile franchises.

 That's a bit of a stretch.  The price drop will help, and it probably would start outselling  the 360 (well, maybe not until after the Halo 3 hype dies), but 2:1?  I don't see it.

First of all NG2 is published by MS so just like Gears don't expect to see it on another console. Also why maybes able to make the PS3 look better but they don't count for the 360. There goes the double standards.

You guys dont seem to understand, buena vista studios is multiplatform, they published kingdom hearts, square enix developed the game. Buena vista is disney. Disney has a NEW studio exclusive to nintendo, therefore has nothing to do with Kingdom hearts.

There's actually a higher chance KH would come to the ps3, simply because of the ps2 exclusive. Now, here's the catch, wii has a larger install base dropping the chances off.

So basicly Kingdomhearts 3 is possible on the wii exclusively the ps3, but not on both too much $$$$ wasted.

Would you care to actually post something useful in this thread instead of pointing out the fanboys? You have yet to actually respond to the OP. All you 've done is generalize Sony fans, labeling them hypocrites.

We're not all like that. I clearly stated that there's a good chance that MS could gnab a Shenmue 3 announcement next week at TGS in the OP, so your accusation of "maybes able to make the ps3 look better but they don't count for the 360" is completely unfounded.

Edit: Not too mention, I didn't mention KH at all in the OP, for the specific reason that it is likely to go to the Wii.  How am I making the ps3 look good and the 360 bad, as you so stated in your first post? 

Seems like alot of these posts would have you believe that MS would sit on their ass and twidle their thumbs while Sony executes offensive manuevers like cranking out new exclusives or dropping hardware prices.

The Microsoft entity knows how to roll with the punches too you know. And Im sure there is stuff in 2008 and 2009 we dont even know about yet from ALL camps.

@Leo-j : A 399$ PS3 would end this battle you think? And if the Xbox with hdmi +HD drops to 299? Then what?

 Killzone 1 was definitly not the best shooter on the PS2.

Timesplitters, Red Faction and even Black were all better. Hell, the PS2 port of half life is far better than KZ

BTW, the PS3 has two SKUs in Japan, one of which is about 450 - maybe a little less.

 Nothing, 360 sale sbest at half the PS3s price.
