YEAH, dlc sucks,
um other than that, lack of co-op for a game
You should be beaten, burned to ashes then someone should throw your ashes from a plane

I agree on this too, region lock is pesky and jurassic.
Games that have to be played for hours in each sitting. Sometimes I just want to relax for an hour (or even less) before I get back to being productive. Let us save frequently enough and pause in the middle of cutscenes if they are long, and skip them if they play again when we load the save.
Mainly genre saturation
Im growing weary of so many sports, FPS, racing, and rpgs. Where are the beatem-ups, hack and slash, run and gun, fixed shooters, and traditional action, and adventure too many crossovers of different genres. and also wii verisons of multiplats that get the short end of the stick (gimped versions done by an outside developer with little effort)

This!!!
Long Live SHIO!
Ripping off aging j-horror movies for all they're worth (or not worth) when making "scary" games.
Making "scary" games at all, everyone fails. (See above).
Huge, macho space marines with ludicrous proportions and attitudes no one in the world would ever have under any circumstance.

What about the recent RE5 release, I know Chris Redfield isn't a space marine, but he certianly would but most body builders to shame.
Bad trends:
DLC for things which would have likely been part of the original package otherwise. This includes micro-transactions (paying to unlock content that is already on the disc).
Genre narrowing. A lot of great genres are dying or dead. Space sims, shooters (think Gradius and R-Type, not FPS), hack'n'slash/beat'em up and more are a dying breed.
Online multiplayer replacing local multiplayer.
Advertising budgets for games being slashed.
Game patching post release and contentless updates.
