People who just want to make bullshit attacks will take it as "We have all the hardcore gamers".

People who actually understand what is being said will take it how I explained it.

I also call bullshit on the whole "There wouldn't be as much to get people all huffed up about" because it doesn't matter what Sony says, they will always get attacked.

i feel i'm quite hardcore gamer but that doesn't mean sony is my man. Everyone always claimed that the Wii is a fad, but really i find the Wii has the most variety of different games.

hell if your not a fan of the 1st/3rd person shooters or shooter games the games really take a huge hit on those system. like 90% of their GAMERANKINGS stats that always get posted are in that genre that i don't like

They have had all those games since the PS2. They were called SingStar, Eyetoy: Kinetic and Kinetic Combat, Eyetoy: Play 1,2 &3. They don't need to copy Nintendo. They just need better advertising instead of dropping games out with little to no media fan fare.

"Hadcore" what the @#$%! is "Hadcore"? Any how I guess this must be another market that sony is going after once they capture some of the casuals./sarcasm/ They are about right about the hardcore gamers, most of us have purchased their console (sony fans and the curious multi console guys). I still say sony should have pushed eyetoy more and buzz as well, they had quite the appeal back in the ps2 days.
