what install? killzone 2 didn't have install and game installs also cut load times to nothing.

It's annoying for game demos....

I find the hard drive installs a con...

First, they are large... Second, they only work on the console that you did the install on. If you take your hard drive to another console you have to reinstall before using the HD install...

For people who use more then one console the HD installs stink.

Also, I find the DRM for Arcade games annoying... First, you can only reassign the DR to one console per year. Second, you have to be connected to Live to play the Arcade games.

all demos have to be installed even the 360 ones, though if u download them on background while playing other game.

the ps3 don't install it until you tell it so.

Aside from the terribly outsourced indian call centre (all companies do this btw).

They extended warranty to 3 years because of RROD (when did Sony do that when the PS2's dvd lense failed?)

My Console turnaround was 7 days after I posted it, at no cost to me. Sony you pay for postage AND repair if it's outside of the 1 year warranty.

HDD is costly

No inbuilt wifi (bad for me when I owned a 360)

Multiple discs in certain games.

DLC - an issue with the PS3 as well, but developers intentionally removing content on the disc to sell as DLC later

I think multi discs and no inbuilt wifi is the only thing I contributed to this thread.

Couldn't you say that one disadvantage of the X360 is that it's made by Microsoft, since many people dislike Microsoft?
