I didn't know this and came as a shock to me, I thought the game did more like 4 million worldwide.

I thought who didn't know this needed to know as this is good for Ubisoft and fans of the first game.

agreed with sega. I started to play this game again with all the talk of the sequal and it still looks and feels amazing. One of my fav games then gen, maybe after NMH and Galexy

Amazing game for sure and deserves the sales. I cannot wait for the sequal. For those that haven't read the full story in the new GI mag it sounds insane. Also AC is the fastest selling new HD franchise this gen.

Great game - Deserves it's sales.

I wouldn't call it an excellent game, but it was a little underutilised. There was a lot that they could have done with the game that they just refused to do, instead making it repetitive, and making half the game fighting using a crappy combat system.

That makes it sound like I dislike the game. I don't, I like it very much, because the parts where it shines, it is excellent. I am keeping an eye on Assassin's Creed 2, because it looks much better than the original; they've improved a lot, it seems. Yet another game to buy this holiday season...on the list with Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, BioShock 2...all number 2, lol.
