When PS1 launched situation couldn't have been more favorable for Sony, it's as if the whole universe was rooting for it.  a 100% failure rate, GREEEEEEAAAT DECISION! xbox 360 is a good systme but what pisses me off is microsoft knew about the failure rate and still released the 360 just to get a head start over the other 2 and in the end that head start is the reason why its ahead of the ps3 which is good for them but not for the consumer who has to sent his 360 in for repair 10 fucking times!!!! damn!

BTW, Congrats to MS, They have become a real force in the gaming market. They sell hardware and software successfully.

NA is the only region for PS3 which is lost

What job do you have at Sony? Hardware has gone cheaper since last year and fact of the matter is that huge software is coming, $100 price cut will happen this year.

Dropping the price by $100 will increase sales for Uncharted 2, GT5, Heavy Rain, MAG, Ratchet and Clank 2 etc since more people have the console.....it's a risk which has to be taken. Let;s not forget all the multi-plat games.

 

You do realize you questioned someone stating something as a fact ebcause they don't work at the company... and then stated something as a fact.

we are in a r ecession.....think practically

"PS3 is selling close to the 360 considering its price is fine" --line

and now its changed to

am merely thinking how SONY might be thinking

SONY as a company are a financial disaster ATM

if YOU were in SONY's place.....how would you see things?

would you drop the price n get more losses....and maybe even risk shareholders revolting

OR

would you say to yourself "right PS3 is still doing better than that horrible 2007....so lets the keep the price as it is for now"

??
