I do believe Donkey Kong required it, but I'm pretty sure they came packed together when I bought them way back when, so I'm not entirely sure.

Also, I believe I read an article last year when Nintendo announced WM+ that stated they were aware of the technology at the time of the Wii's launch, but it was cost prohibitive at the time.

Anyway, we know why we're here. We're all sitting here waiting for a real 1:1 lightsaber game and will crap our pants when one comes out(assuming it's done well), so don't deny it :)

When I first heard of the wii, I thought that was what it was going to do. Should've been there from the start N. How much is this thing going to cost?

If they did then the Wiimote would have cost more then the console itself.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

The N64 did it with the RAM pack, which was necessary for playing, amongst other games, Majora's Mask.

IIRC it wasn't necessary... just very useful.

Wrong. It is required for Donkey Kong and Majoras mask.

Show some tact.  Elaborate on what it was required for and backup your opinion with facts or go away.

Majora's Mask was one of the rare games where the RAM pack was required simply to run.

You know, I feel really silly right now.

I somehow read RAM as Rumble and was struggling to remember why rumble would be required for those games.

Are you serious? It almost....almost sounds like a scapegoat attempt. Then again, when I read Khuutra's first post, I did have some sort of strange feeling that someone might misinterpret it for rumble. For a split second, my eyes did. It was probably because we all expected him to say rumble, since that's used most of the time someone brings up the argument about later controller additions. the RAM thing never pops up most of the time.

We've all been there. I shoulder some of the blame for not calling it the Expansion Pack - I just couldn't remember the name.

"gasp" why is the vote option, "I don't care. I hate the wii" is so high, I'm disgusted in whoever choose the option.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

You probably shouldn't of put the option "I don't care. I hate the wii" lol
