Caution-- thar be spoilers ahead!
So I was playing Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door last night (loving the game by the way, thank you to everyone that told me to play it) and I was at Twilight town collecting the red star for Chapter 4 (the one with the pigs and creepy steeple).
I made my way through the steeple expecting a place as large and complicated as every other dungeon and as drawn out. To my surprise it took no time at all to get to the final boss! I thought maybe I had missed something but I soldiered on and fought him. To my disappointment this guy was actually easier than the enemies I faced on the way to the creepy steeple and I was pretty upset with chapter 4 when I finished the fight.
I thought maybe since it was half way through the game they had given up on hooking the player and just do good enough instead of the phenomenal everything else had been.
So I saw the chapter end screen and expected to see something about Peach but the screen went back to the creepy steeple and just sat there.
The Hell?
I waited about 15 seconds and finally tried to move and to my surprise the shadow I had fought walked out!
Long story short, from there I think this chapter turned into one of my favorite. It totally had me fooled and thought it was just a half-assed chapter but turned out to be *really* cool and even got another character I really wasn't expecting to join my party!
So yea, kudos to Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door.

) is one of my favorite villains, due to his use of the word "slick" and the fantastic nature of that entire level.
