O god would people take advantage of that!!!

Personally, I don't like the idea, mainly because there are a lot of well known scams involving Paypal. If anything I think a game to game bartering program would be better. If this became a serious suggestion we could have someone trust worthy become a volunteer escrow service to mediate the transactions.

I had already asked brett about adding a forum for trading/selling/buying used games from members. We had it work on a motorcycle forum I was on, and people even sold $3000 motorcycles through it. The general rule was you sold/traded with whoever you felt was trustworthy, and you would do the transaction however you wanted (since multiple countries makes some things easier, some harder)

Anyways, if someone didn't hold up their end of the bargain they were perma-banned from the website. Not much of a threat for a quick $50, but I think we only had 1 problem person who just kept saying he was going to pay, but didn't. I think he finally paid like 3-4 months after he got the item.

Well it wouldn't hurt to give it a a try on a trial basis. If it gets out of hand we can always close it. Let's see what administration thinks. I wouldn't mind giving some time up for it personally.

I'd rather not put my address on the internet for a bunch of random strangers to see, thanks.

If the trading system went ahead, both users send their games to vgchartz, then Vgchartz sends them to the people in the trade, to avoid scams of any kind.

Trading Post would be a great idea.

Sounds like a good idea. I doubt i'll be sending out games though, but I am sure there will be many who would love this.
