Considering how poorly Eternal Sonata sold in Japan on the Xbox 360, it's now wonder Namco decided to port the game to the PS3. Together, the PS3 and the Xbox 360, they have a fan base of around 1.7 million. This gives Namco a chance to sell at least 100 thousand to 300 thousand units. This could make the game profitable or hopefully break-even.
Does anyone know if Namco's website initially listed the PS3 as a possible platform for this title or was it listed just for the Xbox 360. Regardless of the matter it still does not mean that the game will see the light of day on the PS3. Namco could scrap the project. It's just better to take a wait and see approach.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
