technically of course the ps3 is great system however i bought the 360 because of price and i'm happy i got it. when i have extra cash i'll get the ps3 but its not something i must get done, it would be nice if live was free, built in browser would be nice too. honestly i cant say i regret getting the 360 and it being my system of choice this gen.

i personally think the method man is the best console this generation.  solid proof n/a

The Genesis CPU ran at least twice the speed of the SNES, but the SNES had better graphics and sound chip. So, the support chips do matter.

The same nonsense has been made up all the time by different people for the past three years.

To most people PS3 looks equal to X360 in regards to game graphics.

Anyway the author of the article has to justify his/her extra money they forked out for PS3 which plays 90% of the games library on the XBox 360.

I'm not the author, but only 44% of the games in my PS3 library are also available on the 360. The majority are simply not available on 360.

Yes, you can hit the weak point for maximum damage on the PS3.  I do assume you are excluding Live Community games from your comments also.

What matters is WHAT games are played that people want to play, not sheer numbers.  The fact that the 360 has more exclusives than the PS3 due to Community Games, doesn't mean these games are a deciding factor in which system to get.

The OP has done nothing but bring more negativity to the PS3 fan base...

Of course... any post would do that... he just made a bigger splash than the usual divers...

and a even lower percentage of the games in the Wii library are also available on the PS3. Wii is more powerful than PS3 confirmed?

I don't get your point.

Does that mean that Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden II, Halo Wars, Forza, Gears of War 1 and 2 aren't possible on the PS3?

Also, nice use of the in MY ps3 library.

Hell, if I owned just uncharted, I could say that 100% of my library is not available on the 360.

Is this REALLY the best he can do?

Come on. That was the most cliched Sony fanboy Wii bashing article I have ever read. At least he said gimmick, and not fad.

"To prove this, we have to turn to hardware capabilities. The PS3's GPU has nearly triple the processing power of the 360's GPU. I won't go into the specific numbers behind this (an example can be found here), but suffice to say that as programmers adapt to the difficulty of programming for the PS3, the differences between the systems will shine on a larger scale. The 360 is the easy way out for now, but it has its limitations."

"Update: I've reworded the fourth paragraph to clear up an issue. I've also corrected a rather embarassing typo ... I had CPU instead of GPU."

We all know 360 has better GPU while PS3 has powerful CPU.

How does graphics make a console "better"?

Look at the wii sales.....and the 360 sales vs ps3.
