I was refereding to MP3 format, it's the standard for the mass market, and it's a standard format among all cosumer devices, excluding a small few which include the DSi.

it has the feature, and its advertised, so of course their will be people using it for music, or at least attempting to.

It's a little bit annoying, but should be no inconvenience.

Ignoring the fact that your music should already be in AAC form, then just go to Itunes, convert it, and enjoy the gigs of free harddrive space it will save you, at no reduced quality
