They really should think of changing their strategy in Japan, before a price cut they should bundle WSR and MH III that should provide some nice sales. Then colours and then maybe price cut. Anywhere else there is no need for it.
Has Nintendo ever bundled a third party game with their home consoles? You see it all the time on the DS but I don't remember any home console doing it. A MH3 bundle would kill in Japan though.

No , he's saying the Wii is the choice of the price concious buyer , cutting the price would therfore have a minimal effect.

Ehh no what I said is:
You buy Wii becouse:
A) You are Nintendo fan who likes Zelda, mario etc.
B) You think it's cool becouse you seen ads, played it at friends house etc

I predict the Wii will have it's first price drop in Q4 2010. Maybe Q2 or Q3 2010 for Japan though.

They bundled GC with RE 4 for example so they did it in the past.
Limited Supply?? Every store I go to has a crap ton of Wiis at all times. They don't even sell out all the way before they get their next shipment.
End of 2009 sales predictions:
PS3 - 33 Million 360 - 40 Million Wii - 75 Million
1. It doesn't need a price cut
2. Honestly, how much higher could its sales be? I think a price cut would have a very minor impact on wii sales. A PS3 price cut would be massive, a 360 price cut would be big, but a wii price cut..it's already doing amazing.
It needs a cut, period. It isn't cheap enough for my pockets yet and I won't declare it the winner of this gen until I got one.
