Forums - Sony Discussion - So that's how you review Lair!

So not content to just blame bad Lair reviews on hardcore gamers not knowing how to play a casual game, motion controls not being for the hardcore, PS3 hardware not being up to snuff, and ghosts, it seems that Sony has now sent reviewers guidelines on how to review Lair.

Genius.

Well, Sony has been known to bribe reviewers in the past with money, vacations and other benefits. This is actually very minor.

Haha, that's amazing. Every developer should send a guide on how to enjoy their game to reviewers hehe.

This is classic.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Factor 5 must be using Sony's PR department for advice.

I swear, I usually don't take this much enjoyment out of a game doing this poorly, but the past few days Lair has been like a car accident you just can't look away from. you would think if they had any common sense they would just let the game die in peace, but I guess that just isn't their style.

We're not able to go to customers explaining the details of the game's intention, or how they should enjoy it.

Hanging out with Sony is not making you any good Factor 5.

They're going the way of Rare -- although Rare did release a good 360 game, it just hasn't sold well.  What a shame.

Sony is distributing chips to put in individual's brains to alter how they percieve enjoyment to allow games like lair to be enjoyed appropriately.

Sign the Resident_Evil_5_Petition for a Wii release or Dark_Samus is going to come get you.

hahahhaaaa... I smell desperation...
