haha, I love matt lillard. I didn't think in the name of the king was aweful, it just wasn't good.

the house of the dead movie and max payne were pretty bad. Also, the mario bros movie.

I want to say double dragon but I don't remember it well enough to be sure.

BTW, if you find yourself looking for the best video game movies, mortal kombat 2 and street fighter are awesome. I mean, they're poorly made, but in all the right ways.

 

Am i the only one who did not hate Max Payne? Ill go as far as saying that i enjoyed it.... It wasnt nearly as dark as the VG but still was not that bad >_>

From those I've watched (Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil 1-3, Doom, Tomb Raider 1 & 2, Postal, Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within) I would say tie between Postal and Resident Evil Extinction. The rest was pretty enjoyable.

BloodRayne, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat 2 - those are the worst videogames based movies.
well i would add automatically Postal The Movie cause you practically can't make a movie out of this game and it was made by Uwe Boll who wouldn't be able to make a good movie even if he was only on the set as sandbag for stuntmen.

I personally liked the style but everything else felt flat to me.

The House of the Dead was a horrid, horrid film. I can't believe I paid for a non R-rated ticket so we could sneak in and watch that trash.

I'm sure that the movie I actually paid to see was much more enjoyable.

House of the Dead was just awful.


PS. I love RE:E and the first Mortal Kombat!
