Right... this weekend im gonna succumb to the DSi.

Im wondering what games to get though... of course, one of the Pokemon games is a cert... im just wondering which would be the best out of Diamond or Pearl, or if i should just wait for Platinum to release here (May 22nd i think)

Anyway... what games would you recomend me buy. Im looking for 3, including a Pokemon.

When you're so close to the Platinum release, I think you should just wait for that.

As for other games... 3, you say?

Kirby Super Star Ultra, New Super Mario Bros. and Phantom Hourglass are all very solid titles.

Platinum is better than the other two but you need to wait for it until May, better buy Pokemon ranger 2 now and Platinum in May.

Whats Pokemon Ranger like?

Get Pokemon Myster Dungeon: Explorers of Time or Explorers of Darkness.

Also Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros. are must-haves.

If you're a RPG fan.. you might like TWENY(I hated it) and Final Fantasy IV.

Also There's Mario and Luigi if you're looking for a different kind of RPG.

And you cant pass some pokemon from Pokemon Ranger to any main DS pokemon game

Platinum basically has all the features in Diamond and Pearl combined, plus some extra stuff.

There's no reason to get the other ones, go Platinum!

Platinum for sure. It's got so much more than Diamond/Pearl and it's only 2 months away for you (unless you import it, which is an option).

3 games I've enjoyed:

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - This game is an excellent introduction to the series if you haven't played it yet (an SRPG by the way).

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 - An excellent visual novel type game. Might be a bit hard to find though.

Phoenix Wright - Ever imagine what it would be like to be a lawyer? Imagine no more!.......HOLD IT! This isn't an ad.

I enjoyed this game immensely as well. I like mystery books a lot, and this game played out like one.....except I was the main character. The music is excellent as well.

To answer your question: Platinum. It will be either equal to or better than D/P.

Kirby Power Paintbrush. Over any of the other Kirby games.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

New Super Mario Bros. and Phantom Hourglass are musts.

Platinum is simply the better enhanced remake version, so i would go with it over D/P

NSMB is amazing, havent tried out MK:DS but im sure its fun as well.
