Yep, I have not a single doubt in my mind that Halo 3 just lost it's greatness thanks to Epic Games!!!!

I don't know if it will dethrone Halo or Gears of War or anything, but this should be a phenomenal game. It will shame the previous versions of Unreal on the console.

Um... you mean in console-FPS only right? Because I don't think Halo ever had a throne in general FPS...

well lucky im a PC fan first then. (YAY for my $5000 PC at the end of the year with my Intel 45nm Penryn based processor, liquid cool system, and Nvidia 9800GTX all OCed!!!)

yea console because on PC UT3 actually has competition. Crisis, and Half-Life 2: Ep 2 wont be that easy to beat.

BTW when is the Penryn supposed to be released? Is gonna be LGA775?
Does unreal have 4 player co-op campaign and no fighting bots is not a compaign :p. Should be a good game though but cod4 and halo3 should be better since they have a single player campaign and are more mainstreamed recognizable and marketed more.

why is it that no one really understands that Unreal has a story? its just spread through the many many games. UT3 just takes you deeper into it so you will probably see some cut scenes and crap maybe.
@fazz - I buy all my parts off NewEgg, I just go a bit more extreme when it comes to my PCs, like a custom one of a kinda case. I'm getting my case get a dragon waterjetted into the side and have scales either painted on or waterjetted too then painted. Basically the job will cost about $1000 - $1500 dollars.
Also im getting the new razer brand mouse with 4000dpi, a Blu-ray compatible LCD moniter (26"), of course a Blu-ray drive, CD/DVD-DL w/ Lightscribe combo drive, 8GB of musklin or corsair brand ram (PC-100000), w/e motherboard Asus comes out with next that supports the new processor and video card(needs PCI e2), liquid cooling or flash freeze (havent decided), LEDs of course (got to have red coming out of my dragon and blue/white out of the window), a physx card, Killer X network card, and a sound card if I can fit it.
The Penryn should be out in November, same with the 9800GTX.
