Forums - Sony - Tales of Vesperia announced for PS3

Sorry, but I just can't believe anything that comes out today. If it's true now it'll still be true in a week and I can start believing it then.

If it is true, hopefully we see a stateside release.

Acevil, what do you mean by "Tales of Symphonia all over again"?

if true one less jrpg for 360. slowly the king is looking like a jester

You're absolutely right, when this game hits the PS3, all 360 copies of the game will explode. BAM! No more ToV for the 360.

Just like that.

I doubt it g-value, usually they don't add too much. We will just get a new character and a new area.

Anyways I'm buying Tales of Vesperia again, because it is so awesome!

Edit: Unless this is Tales of Symphonia all over again.... actually I think this is Tales of Symphonia all over again! Enjoy ps3 japanese fans only!

that would just be very weird why would they put eternal sonate to europe and amerika (ps3 version)

and tales of vesperia not ????

If its true, good for PS3 owners. ToV is great game, unlike Eternal Sonata. Still trying figure out how PS3 owners can mock 360 owners for getting the game first. The PS3 version will most likely hit well over a year after the 360 game was released.

I missed out on the mocking part. But some would consider an later release+ exrtas/improvements to be a superior deal. It's not like the game will be so old as to be irrelevant to those who have never played it. I could have sworn I even saw some posts from 360 owners lamenting their purchase of TOV now that this version has been announced. No biggie either way, but I'd rather wait for the best posible version myself.

I think you missed my point. I think its great for PS3 owners to get to experience one of the best RPGs of the generation. I just get a kick out of how people like Max King of the Wild act. I have too many games that I already own to complete without sinking another $60 into ToV. Personally, I highly doubt I'd buy the game for PS3 unless it has some sort of massive addition, like the ability to play through the game from Flynn's perspective. That would definitely be worth a "double dip."

not my fault starcraft, mr stickball, selnor and many others dubbed the 360 jrpg king of the gen

Which has what do with your behavior? Your are attitude is pathetic. You are going to deny your self a top notch game because it released on 360 first? Are you that much of a butt hurt fan boy? "Gamers" like you are what's wrong with the industry.

are you on crack? when did i saw because it wason 360 first? stop putting words in my mouth.

@ Max King of the Wild

But you never played ToV before. You are making a weak argument.

if this is true then it's good, although NA version we might see not...

why not? most of the game has already been localized maybe only need to localize the new character's parts :)

and eternal sonata was released in europe and US too!

because some "tales of" games gets never released on the US and especially now that since we already have the 360 US version, chances are low but I'm still crossing fingers. Yet again IF the news of ToV-PS3 is actually true...
