if im not mistaken the 360 was doing over 100k there not to long ago it is now close to ps3 #s and EU is the only region were the 60g 360 is cheaper than the wii

Only 46M+ opening week in Others.

360 sales are better because its cheaper........ True (but its also buliding brand recognition in the process & taking marketshare)

Sony are no longer the force they once were and lots of their once loyal fans are now turning to the wii or 360....... True.

I can't believe the PSP is elling 60k every week without games.

This is not good. The X360 is gettin killed by PS3. The sales difference is now negligilbe.

It is interesting isn't it.. Once Japan and Europe combine the PS3 is only 4k back of the 360 world wide. but then NA comes in and the difference goes up to about 40k per week.

It has to be comforting for Sony to know that all they really should do is focus on NA and the gap becomes nothing.

Even with the price , the 360 will always face the unfair default advantage that playstation will always have over it in Japan. and that difference does matter quite a bit.

And in response to an earlier post; the best the PS3 can hope for is 1st above the wii. But realistically the best they could hope for is 2nd.

360 selling more hardware once again but the PS3 was pushing over 20% more software than the 360. That's insane considering it has a smaller userbase and "PS3 owners don't buy games" It seems every week the PS3 is killing in software sales in the Others region.

yup. it seems that at this rate, in about 4/5 weeks, the PS3 will have sold more software than the 360 has in Others
