PS1? A very small chance. PS2? No way unless there's some sort of a miracle.

That said, they are both possible. Still, it's kinda unlikely.

It won't outsell the PS1. It started too slow and there will be no time before the end of this generation to accomplish that. On the other hand, there is almost 100% chance to outsell the PS2 by 2011. The explanation is the major price cut announced today, dropping the price to USD 199.00 with a re-released 20 GB version, stripped of the wifi and BC.

No it won't. I say it will sell between 60-80 million maybe slightly more if Sony has aggressive price cuts towards the end of its life.

i think it can outsell the ps1 it will need to be a the market a long time for it to outsell the ps2

its still early to tell we need to c wat a 300 or even 200$ ps3 can do sales wise
