Mario is about the only reason you buy a Nintendo system, as you can tell from the DS numbers for mario. I would expect the game to have the same attach rate as wii sports, and about 942k units the first full week. But the game may make alot of people sick form playing it, i almost threw up from watching some of the vids.

Speak for yourself GranTurismo, I enjoy plenty of other Nintendo franchises. Fire Emblem, Zelda, Advance Wars, Metroid Prime, and a few other ones too. :p Oh, and the only 1st party Sony game I've ever bought was Legend of Dragoon. :p

Yeah, nobody bought their DS for Pokemon, Nintendogs or Brain training.

I think RolStoppable's 650K is going to be close. My gut is telling me a little lower than that -- say, 625-630.

 Why don't you grow up ben, and stop this trolling of Sony fans on the boards.  The videos made me sick and i felt dizzy and almost threw up from watching them, all the upside down stuff and the planet views made me sick.  I have owned almost every Nintendo console except the wii so don't say i'm not a Mario fan.  I have about 10 different games with mario in them, that must mean i hate the fat little plumber.  I guess all the japanese make the stuff up about being sick from the camera views in shooting games too right.

I don't troll on Sony fans...I've been calling you out a few times now, because of your trolling. If you honestly get sick though, fine. Sucks for you. I honestly doubt that many people will get sick from playing this game though...so I don't know why you even bring it up.

A lot of people get sick from FPS games, that never seemed to hurt sales.

If they can ship 300K it will sell 300K
If they can ship 1.000K it will sell 1.000K

if they can ship more than 1.500K then it will not sell more than 1.500K (If they can do that I am surprised).


So....how many will they ship (games)?

I don't think many people would get sick from playing Mario games either, especially Galaxy. It looks pretty fun (no fanboyism) and as long as it didn't turn out like Super Mario Sunshine did, *shakes head* it should be a great game and a top seller for the Nintendo Wii.

As for sales in Japan, the Americas or any other part of the world, I really don't know what to predict. I'll just wait and see for myself. :D
