PS3 owners could say I need it to look for jobs on the internet.

Xbox 360 people could say I needed a DVD player for my education.

All 3 console's cost more then a starving person will ever see in their entire life.

Quite simply. I would say that since people who are starving for the most part tend to live in places of the world with poor infrastructure and communication that there is very little I could do for that starving person directly even if I wanted to.

I would say that the ps3 cooks my burgers for me and goes on the internet to learn me how to cook food properly ;)

Food banks in this country don't fill themselves.  Only by donations do a lot of people stay fed.
