Forums - Website Topics - Is VGChartz growing? If so, by how much?

Okay, this is mainly for the forums.

I decided to get some info on this.

I check how many posts have been made within a period of time, and the difference.

I'm putting it in chunks of 100,000. The % are relatively vague, seeing as my PC calculator messed up, this is just done in my head. Inform me of any major mistakes).

Or, a graph. Lower = more posts.

I find this pretty surprising. The forum hasn't really grown in the past 6 months. Unless, I'm using data incorrectly.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

interesting. The number of hits, though has certainly grown, judging by VGChartz alexa ranking, anyway. at the moment it is #7848. not long ago it was >#10000

Check out my pyro tf2 vid :)

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

That is because their some members permbanned who posted a lot?

Like that crazyman dude. If he opened a thread it had 500 posts in less than a day.

I have a feeling we'll be in the top 5000 soon.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I've always said I don't think the site is friendly or inclusive enough to encourage new visitors to register here.

It could also be related to the time of year. Like around Christmas and E3 i'm sure posting is popular but the rest of the year will be lower.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

There might be more regulars but that doesn't mean they'll post a lot. The numbers not the forum is the most important figure. And the numbers have grown lol.

Well, the forum activity seem to depend on how much is happening in the videogames world and mods have taken a little more harsh line to prevent flamebaiting.
