lol but I wasn't I was a new guy all excited about VG Chartz and I had a lot of replies saying I was an Alt, thankfully a couple people defended me.

Current users should not make assumptions of new comers like telling them that they're an alt. and or making unwelcoming comments. That itself would help a lot. (It hasn't happened to me which shows that most people do make new comers feel welcome)
