I understand that it's your opinion, I'm just asking if you have any particular reason for saying that.

Nice. Expect your post to be largely ignored by the detractors.

I had thread about this..http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=64728 Game that has a soul.
Take my love, take my land..
God.... A thread where almost half of the posts are written to provoke other people? I don't really feel like posting here.
The way I see it, a game is successful on an economical status.
LBP didn't sell as much as certain idiots on the Internet thought it would, but Sony still made a ton of money of it (even if you look very pessimistically at it, there's 30M for the 2M copies, and a few more million in the DLC, against the 6-8 mill development costs).
Madworld didn't sell as much as certain idiots thought it would (or pretended they did). Still, it has a low production cost, so chances are it will make its money back.
Do you really expect a 3rd party "hardcore" game with a development cost of 2 million or less to beat the major Nintendo games for most people?
Case is, the "hardcore" Wii games so far are pretty crap at hitting the correct market. I really doubt that the Wii somehow has tons of GTA and murder fans. If you're gonna score on Wii, I think you'll have to go more with the "joke fighter". Not Tekken (I'm just taking a fighter, I don't like them so Tekken might be a bad example), but Brawl.
On the other hand, there are some shooter fans on Wii, and making a low-cost production appealing to those might be a safer choice than attempting to do the same as Nintendo.
I think that's the Wii's problem. Nobody wants to challenge Nintendo.
Think of it as a list
1 = Completley mainstream
10 = As cult/hardcore as it gets.
Now, with its major games, Nintendo has essentially occupied 3-7 (or something like that).
Companies do not want to fight with Nintendo, so they choose to make games in either the 1-3 bracket or 7-10 bracket.
The vast majority of people are in the 3-7 bracket, but I guess companies might see challenging Nintendo as too much of a risk.
So overall, Nintendo is killing 3rd parties on Wii.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS
Well, I don't get the term 'The big test'. Bringing Madworld on Wii was big test? Who said that?

what other games are you talking about b/c i see these?

That's a small list when you put into consideration all the games that bomb or just get average sales.
For example:
Iron Man, No More Heroes, Nights, Hulk, Okami, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, Spyro, Mortal Kombat Armegeddon, Godfather, Scarface, Bomberman Land, Siderman Web of Shadows, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Underworld, Castlevania Judgement, etc.
And these are just a few notable mentions in a long list of bombs. You never know what game will have steady sales.
^people that knew it would only sell around the mill mark and wanted to turn that into a negative thing..but only on the wii b/c if it is a 360 our ps3 game that would be tragic b/c they still consider the 500k mark a good seller

Hey in the end, if it does sell 500k and produces a random sequel, nintendo fans, you can come back to this thread, and point and laugh at some people.

Well Sega seems to put out a lot of sequels that get piss poor sales, so I'm looking foward to that release.
Never, ever, judge first week sales (let alone two days) especially on the Wii since so many times games that were declared bombs shot up quicker than a junky.
