Combining the list posted earlier and what Max King of the Wild has said (see quote below), I’ve bolded and underlined the games which fit the description. Bold fit what the website said, bold and underline fit what the website has said AND what Max has said (because, let’s face it, we don’t really have any reason to believe what he’s saying).

It's a figure of speech with the given context.  God of War series has never got 'tons of sales'  although many would still consider if a system seller.  Uncharted didn't push tons of systems out the door (It was just a good game).  What the guy in the article is saying,  is that this is a game worthy of the praise and hype received of these other titles. (AKA :  It's a good game).

If it's an FFVII remake,  I would assume much of the work is similar to their current projects (FFXIII, etc) in terms of graphics and processing elements,  correct?   It's essentially,  level design, inputting text and cut scenes.  Destroy?  Fans of the series will purchase both.   Whose to say FFVII won't be coming after 13 and before the other 2?

@Bugrimmar - If Sony somehow has FF7 tied up, then they may be assisting in the development. I would think that Sony will be assisting in the development of the game. This may be a second party type situation where Sony is providing a lot of the developers. In which case, they could get it out the door 15 months from now. (Someone would have to clarify if Square could publish this on 360/Wii, I guess they can't).

I guess a good question for Wii/360 owners is would you buy a $300 PS3 primarily for a FF7 remake?

Note: This is all speculation. I don't necessarily believe any of this.

That game was a great game. Dunno how well it sold in the EU though, roughly 1m in the US alone but still not quite a system mover eh?

 This would be nice, really nice. But i doubt it.

sigh. i quit. you guys will just have to wait to be disappointed again. for the last time, square cannot possibly be working on a remake when their 13s aren't even out yet.

but i do wish you would use your heads on this over your emotions. it is impossible. don't put your entire stake on some magazine guy's word. internet overhype =/= real world hype.
