It's not about how many sales it's going to get.  It's about what game it is. If it falls in line with GoW3, FF, MGS4, etc  it's a very BIG game.   It has nothing to do with sales.  More about what 'good' game could PS3 owners be getting.

 

It could very well be a FF7 remake.  All of the graphical design is essentially completed.  The storyline is obviously completed for a FFVII remake.  It's really a matter of using what's already there or will be soon and fitting it to FFVII.

SYSTEM SELLER = SELLS SYSTEMS... it's all about sales! and i'm saying there have been so many bloody "SYSTEM SELLERS" over this past year that have all not sold anywhere near their internet hype. just coz one guy from some magazine says it again, all of you are all crazy again? learn...

And how do you know that all the graphical design is completed? nothing's been announced as of yet. this is all speculation. there's NOTHING about FF7 remake aside from the tech demo years ago.

I repeat: Square has THREE FF13 games to worry about. they aren't stupid enough to destroy 13's hype by pulling 7 out even before their flagship games are out. please use your heads.

It's a figure of speech with the given context.  God of War series has never got 'tons of sales'  although many would still consider if a system seller.  Uncharted didn't push tons of systems out the door (It was just a good game).  What the guy in the article is saying,  is that this is a game worthy of the praise and hype received of these other titles. (AKA :  It's a good game).

 

If it's an FFVII remake,  I would assume much of the work is similar to their current projects (FFXIII, etc) in terms of graphics and processing elements,  correct?   It's essentially,  level design, inputting text and cut scenes.  Destroy?  Fans of the series will purchase both.   Whose to say FFVII won't be coming after 13 and before the other 2?
