Great to see the PS3 finally cross that 3 million barrier! It is about time that the console got another milestone in the country! Maybe not as good as Sony would have thought they would be at this point in the console's lifespan, but nothing to be sniffed at!

Congrats on 360 making 1 million also although it is unlikely going to make 2 million this gen!

Congrats Microsoft, you did it. I expect sometime next week we will have an official announcement from Microsoft about the whole situation. Perhaps they will throw in some cool stuff on LIVE to celebrate.

I think the 360 has a chance at 2 million in Japan--after all, the generation likely isn't even half over. Its sales are much better now than they used to be, so it could eventually limp its way there. Good job for both of them, though.

Will be interesting to see how future is 4 them. We all know that ps3 has Final fantasy 13 and Verus 13 and Gt5 but is that enough for it.

360 as of know dont have much if nothing at all, but the year has just begun maybe Microsoft has something to announce who knows.

Great for 360. Not bad for PS3. HD gaming is still about 4 million begind the Wii though.

I think both have a chance to double what they're selling.

I'd say that it's biggest game is yet to release. Biggest != Exclusive
