This just hasn't been your week.

Fallout 3? Well, yeah, those emotion-less NPCs are indeed depressing

Theresia is depressing

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X both had their depressing moments.

Especially FF9 during the ending, but luckily things brightened up at the end

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Shadow of the Colossus(PS2)
Nothing comes close to this. Playing as a single person in a huge world while sometimes endlessly riding on ur horse. Plus the music was so depressing at times it really added to the loneliness.

This, but still one of the greatest games last gen.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Shadow of The Colossus
Ico
Silent Hill 1 and especially 2. (that videotape still gets to me)
Final Fantasy X
Metal Gear Solid 1,3, and 4
Persona 3(and FES)
Persona 4
Devil May Cry 3
GTA IV

oh, I forgot. the end of Half-Life 2: Episode II

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
after mida got her power taken away, taking her to the castle while people look by all in fear with the music in the background and the rain made it depressing

I thought Bioshock was a pretty depressing game, seeing as as everything in Rapture, from the people to the city itself, went to hell. Andrew Ryan in particular was a tragic character, seeing that he went from a man with a dream to a power-hungry tyrant trying to take control of a dying city.

There's a lot more aspects in the game that are of a depressing nature (creation of the Little Sisters, Jack's little predicament, Sander Cohen and Steinman's fall to insanity, etc.), it's just a good thing that the story ends on a happy note.

Well by the end of Yakuza I was feeling depressed over the main characters situation. :x

Playing: InFamous, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, Modern Warfare 2
