Doubt it. It will launch when they are ready to launch. I doubt Vlave gives a shit when consoles will release.

Half Life Episodes 1 to 3 are equal to Half-Life 3.
Half Life episode 3 is supposed to be the finale of the Half-Life series.

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 gets re-named to Half-Life 3. That would result in epic sales.
I suppose what you want to count it as. Perhaps one could say that the episodes combined would make Half-Life 3. Another would say that it has to be a new game after Episode 3. Perhaps it's both. Dun Dun DUN.
I'd say let's focus on bugging Valve for Episode 3 since that's still going to be X amount of years away.
Breaking Half-Life 3 up and releasing it as 3 Episodes well was a great business move on the behalf of Valve. The Orange Box which featured Half 2, Episodes 1 and 2, portal and Fortress 2 - 5 games on one game disc was by far the best package Valve have released to gamers.
I never played Half-Life. But I liked Half 2, Episode 2 was the best so far and Portal was a fun innovative puzzle game. I did not like Episode 1 and I could not get into Fortress 2 , due to slow broadband connection.

I ronic you should ask that. I was going through it just now. I'm halfway through Ep1 now. It hasn't aged one bit, it's still amore enjoyable single-player than anything out there. |
Well i disagree then. It's not exacly top tier anymore but it is still pretty enjoyable.. in my opinion anyways :p
