I haven't had enough time with Killzone 2 yet to say anything about it but with Little Big Planet I was upset.

Don't get me wrong, the level editor is a lot of fun and it's a genuinely good game but it's hard to find a good level out there in the community. You have to wade through a lot of crap to find the good levels and that just takes away a lot of the fun.

you need other people who play LBP regularily on your friends list. Look through their hearted levels to find great levels easily. They did improve the search function to find better levels, but it can't ever be perfect. Some people heart/5-star crappy levels.

A search option was added a while back for the community levels.

You go to 'search' choose 'highest rated' and most of the best levels are right there.

OT: Valkyria Chronicles sounds like it would be the game best suited to your particular tastes. It would also probably be the safest bet, given that you've already played it and enjoy the gameplay.

Killzone 2 is very enjoyable, but some of it's vaule has already been detracted in a sense if you're not interested so much in the singleplayer (which is a great experience). Online, it's more hardcore then COD and with a steeper learning curve.

LittleBigPlanet. The singleplayer is excellent. The multiplayer is great too, but I find connecting with randomers can take a long time. Having a few people you know with the game on your friends list is a big plus with LBP. If other games haven't managed to entice you into constructing things with the level editor, neither will LBP.

Valkyria Chronicles is something that no PS3 should go without playing.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Surely KZ2 would have to be no 1 choice if for no other reason than reviews.
I mean this game had a lot of hype to live up to much like gears and by all accounts succeeded.
Anyway just my opinion.

Either Valkyria Chronicles or Killzone 2.

LBP was fun for some hours, but the singleplayer gets boring very fast (and it's f*cking short). Multiplayer is a bit better, but once again: without friends it's not worth it.
There are about 5-6 fantastic community levels, about 10 good ones and well yeah the rest is not so amazing.

@Twestern - Your reasons for putting down LBP are dated. Those problems did not even really exist when the game first came out.

id say just buy another 360 game

other than that it has to be killzone 2

if i had a ps3, id have that game

i played LBP a bunch, not worth it

valkyria i have no idea, but i hate JRPGS so id give bad advice

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Well if you are still addicted to CoD 4, there is no reason to get KZ2. No game will ever beat that online, but KZ2 is the closest I have seen any game come to it

LBP is fantastic, but only really worth it if you play it through in co-op

I don't know anything about VC, haven't played it myself

To be honest my friend Littlebigplanet is not a real good game, i did not enjoy it. I would reccomend to you.

- Metal gear solid 4
- Uncharted
- Cod 4 and Cod 5
- Prince of persia
- r6v and r6v2
- Grid
- Street fighter

All these games are excellent and have brought me countless hours of fun. the vegas games are excellent for single player campaigns while the Call of duty games have excellent online multiplayer. Mgs4 is thoroughly enjoyable, grid so far for me best racer this gen and uncharted and Prince of persia are excellent adventure games. Hope it helps.

Out of the three listed I would get Killzone 2. It's next-prefect FPS on the market right now. I am currently playing the original Killzone on the PS2. I'm loving every bit of it. It has minor hit detection issues but otherwise the game is playable. I do die a lot on some stages and have to restart and its a little frustrating where I do turn the game off and wait a few hours before playing again, but overall the game is outstanding and I can't wait to try Killzone 2.

So its more the reason for you to pick up Killzone 2. I haven't played the second game yet but I can rest assured its worth your time and money, bra!
