This is a weird thing to get mad about, it is just a $ not a whole statement or something.

I just take it as normal when I see a M$ almost like it is just an alternative way of saying MS. I don't think many people are using it to be clever or funny, I might have used it just because it looks normal but I don't remember doing it ever...
