If a Wii game has online or not solely depends on the determination the developer had while making said game.
Im not really into online play that much, the best ones seem to be the Mario Kart games
but then again, I would just rather play than hearing people talk smack, or swearing 90% of the timebecauce they feel they are getting screwed.
Yeah, I don't like voicechat UNLESS it is with friends. I love that! no one ever cusses....usually. lol
| nordlead said: well, boom blox's sequel should have online, and it comes out in a couple months. but yea, it seems rather stupid that devs put online support in the PS360 versions but not he Wii version. |
Remember it's two different teams making the two different versions so I expect there to be plenty of differences between the two. Same basic story and gameplay, different everything else.
I still haven't gotten a chance to play the Wii version but I'm actually pretty excited to give it a go. I'm actually a huge fan of the art style.

EDIT: And just to prove that Wii gamers really enjoy online gmaing, NPD just stated it is the second most played online console in America. The X360 has 50%, the Wii at 29% and the PS2and PS3 share the rest.

That same article said: ... online gaming for home consoles and portable devices climbed from 19 per cent in 2008 to 25 per cent in 2009, ...
If I read this correctly, three out of four gamers do not go online.
Back to the OP -- the Wii Ware FPS Onslaught has four-player coop on-line. You might want to try that.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |

You should congratulate me. I destroyed the vile red falcon and saved the universe. I consider myself a hero.
Doesn't the Wii version of Ghostbusters have exclusive local co-op and competitive multiplayer?

I forgot it was two seperate teams, but honestly that shouldn't matter in the end if the publisher (or whoever is paying for the game) wanted online in both versions it could easily be there. Granted, I wouldn't use the online co-op anyways, so no big loss for me.
