Neither of those happened to me, although my game froze once on the last level, when bullets were everywhere, and the framerate was down to some 15 fps. For some reason, when I restarted, the framerate was back to 30...

You just have bad luck. Maybe Sony read your "I hate PSN" thread, and decided to have some fun with you.

Well, I haven't tried the single player campaign yet.

I've spent over 12 hours in multiplayer though.

lol No. Never seen anything game stopping. Its flawless, totally flawless, no freezes, no bugs, no nothing. Your PS3 hates you as much as you hate your PS3.

Once I was trying to move on through the level and my partner at the time (think it was Garza) got stuck underneath a staircase and I had to restart the section in order to get him out. Kind of annoying but its all good now :P

i didnt experience that, my game only froze on in multiplayer but it got disconnected from the network after it, and just once.

Hmm, never experienced something like that, but for some reason, sound clips cut out on me all the time.
Both in cutscenes, or if I am being shouted at ingame, peoples voices will just stop. Though I can still read the subtitles, so I haven't really missed much.

Beat the game twice and am also constantly playing online my ps3 never frooze during this game.

I haven't got any freezes either. played more then 3 to 4 hours worth.

I had one issue when I skipped a cutscene and the level loaded but the screen was just black. I restarted the level and everything was fine after that. As far as buddies getting in the way in KZ2 you can hit them with the rifle and I'm pretty sure you can kill them and then revive them lol.
