Chrono Trigger...when Chrono died, and I find out you can finish the game without him...what? Of course I got him back..I couldn't believe what I had saw tho. You don't kill off the character that's been the main character for the entire game. The point in having a main character is to see them make it to the Journey's end, or at least die taking down the evil villain in the very end. I would say I was more disappointed than amazed, but it shocked me all the same.

star ocean 3...when fayt and all his crew find out they are actually program that come to life...wtf???....that's like Master Chief finds out those aliens aren't really aliens but actually defensive program.....

Xenogears was the best.

I liked the one when you find out that

MAJOR SPOILER MAJOR SPOILER MAJOR SPOILER!!!!

Gears are made out of humans. Truly Xenogears is the greatest rpg of all time.

And for a more recent rpg that shocked the hell out of me was ToV when

MAJOR SPOILER MAJOR SPOILER MAJOR SPOILER!!!

Sodia stabs Yuri and that the Shrine of Zaude's ability was not that it could control the planets aer but was a worldwide barrier blastia.

I did not see those coming. I was shocked and pissed off at the same time.
